Design and build a clean looking, responsive and easy to navigate website. The client also wanted to be able to take as much control over the website updates as possible.
The Joshua Tree is a Cheshire based children’s cancer charity that operates across the North West and North Wales and are dedicated to working closely with families affected by childhood cancers. We have previously fundraised for The Joshua Tree as part of DDC’s 10 year anniversary (where we took on the 3 peaks challenge and raised over £10,000). We approached the charity about re-designing their website and offered to do the site free of charge.
The existing website was old, non-responsive and the navigation structure wasn’t very clear so we broke down the site structure into three main top-level parent sections; about the charity, their services and how people could help. The site content naturally filtered into these sections and now makes it quick and easy for users to find the information they are looking for. We specifically designed the site pages using a simple design so that the client can easily edit and create new pages. Utilising Avada’s fusion builder global library meant we could build elements that can be dropped in sitewide such as separators, buttons to donate and forms
